VR EXPERIENCE | 2ND TIME TRAVEL CONGRESS | DIEBURG | JANUARY 2026

“It’s time to travel through time! No lab coats required, just curiosity, imagination, and maybe your dancing shoes.”

This ‘time travel’ experience was presented alongside other installations during the second edition of h_da’s Mediencampus ‘Time Travel Congress’. Publicly called ‘Rome Quiet’s Side’ to mislead users, the experience tells how historical artefact collector Mara Vescari sends you, the participant, to Pompeii in the midst of the eruption of Vesuvius to acquire Julius Caesar’s legendary sword, only available in that specific time frame.

The experience was attended by over 80 people, simultaneously on three Quest 3 headsets over a period of three hours.

My role was Project Manager and VR developer, and the effort was linked to the Master’s Degree in Expanded Media (XR).
