A Mixed Reality social network concept letting users post digital content on people and places around them, with privacy by design.

CONCEPT

LAYERS is a Spatial Social Network using Mixed Reality and Augmented Reality as its core technology. Using MR glasses or mobile phones, users can rediscover people and places in a manner like never before, with privacy always in mind.

PROTOTYPE

Realised during the Winter Semester 23/24 for the Augmented and Virtual Reality Design course. The main interaction is posting and self-expressing: posts can be any digital content, and users can post in different places, including on themselves. Runs on Android and Meta Quest 3.
